1. Definitions of processing and data subject

Processing of personal data means any operation performed with or without automated processes applied to personal data (e.g. collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, use, communication, restriction, deletion or destruction). A data subject is any individual whose personal data is being processed.

2. Who is the Data Controller

Daicar Rent S.r.l., tax code and VAT no. 14649991008, with registered office at Via del Porto Fluviale, 1C, 00154 Rome (RM), is the data controller as it determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data. For communications or questions regarding the processing of personal data, you can write to privacy@ideal-tech.io.

3. What personal data is processed

• Cookies: information about cookies is available in the Cookie Policy.
• Navigation and interaction data: the IT systems and software procedures used to operate the Site collect, in normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols (e.g. IP addresses, URIs, time of request, method used, file size in response, status code and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment). Such data is used for anonymous statistical purposes, security and proper functioning of the Site.
• Data you provide: identification and contact data, online identifiers and any data suitable to identify or make you identifiable, communicated via the Site or other channels. We invite you not to enter special categories of personal data pursuant to Art. 9 GDPR. You are responsible for the content communicated and hold the Controller harmless from liabilities connected to such content.

4. Purposes of processing

1. to enable browsing of the Site and manage Site security;
2. to contact you following your request for information or activation of Services;
3. to fulfil obligations under laws, regulations or EU legislation, or requests from authorities;
4. to send you email communications for services or products similar to those requested (Art. 130, para. 4, Privacy Code), unless opposed;
5. to send you promotional and marketing communications (newsletters, market research, automated and non-automated tools), with prior consent;
6. to share your data with other Daicar Group companies for promotional and marketing purposes, with prior consent;
7. to carry out statistical analyses in completely anonymous and aggregated form.

5. Legal basis and nature of data provision

1. Purposes 4.1 and 4.2: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures). Provision is optional but necessary to use the requested Services.
2. Purpose 4.3: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (fulfilment of legal obligation).
3. Purpose 4.4: Art. 130, para. 4, Privacy Code (soft spam on similar services, unless opposed).
4. Purposes 4.5 and 4.6: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Provision for marketing is not mandatory and does not prejudice the Services.
5. Purpose 4.7: processing on anonymous and aggregated data.

6. Recipients of personal data

1. Subjects acting as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR (e.g. technical maintenance, hosting, electronic communication systems, chatbots, data verification), in compliance with the minimisation principle.
2. Daicar Group companies, limited to the purposes referred to in point 4.6 and with prior consent.
3. Subjects, entities or authorities to whom communication is mandatory by law or by order of the authority.
4. The complete list of data processors is available upon written request to the contacts indicated in this notice.

7. Retention periods

1. Data processed for purposes 4.1 and 4.2: for the time strictly necessary and in any case no more than 6 months from the communication.
2. Data processed for purpose 4.3: for the time required by the specific legal obligation.
3. Data processed for purpose 4.4: until opposition or withdrawal of consent where applicable.
4. Data processed for purposes 4.5 and 4.6: for a period not exceeding 2 years from collection.

8. Your rights

Under Chapter III of the GDPR, you may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing in the cases provided for by Art. 21 GDPR, data portability in the cases provided for by Art. 20 GDPR and any other right provided for by applicable law. You can exercise your rights by writing to privacy@ideal-tech.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR.

9. International data transfers

We prefer providers and solutions that allow data to remain within the European Union. Where services are provided by providers established in third countries, we adopt appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

10. Updates to the privacy notice

We invite you to periodically consult this notice to check for any updates due to regulatory changes or changes in data processing. In case of significant changes, we will notify you promptly.
